This place is hands down the best BBQ in Lakewood. I usually get the Hawaiian or the two meat plate. Their ribs slide off the bone and aren't dry. The pork is fantastic and sausage is equally outstanding. You know it's good when the staff comes up and asks if you're okay because you've spent the last 10 minutes sobbing in real time over how good the food is while you stuff your face with yet another Rib. They've started to put me outside in my own food tent and charge for people to come watch me sob over my meals. Kudos to you Piggin Out!!!

Damn good. Thats all I wanted to say but yelp is requiring I have at least 85 characters. So you're on this filibustering journey with me. And it's good comfort food with the Mac and cheese.

Stopped in today for lunch with a friend. I had not been there in four or five years. This experience was top shelf. The staff were pleasant and extremely friendly. The ordering process was simple and the counter attendant really helped sort through all the options. The food came out well packaged, to go. Even though we ordered "to go" the farmy ambiance really begged us to take a seat and eat in their folksy outdoor eating area. It was a beautiful fall day and our meal was exceptional. I easily enjoyed their peach cobbler that I had for dessert. This is a very "local" type place and it's a favorite for sure. I really need to come here more often. They also have a great outdoor area you can book for private events. I was clearly on a romantic date with another woman and was never treated any differently. Seemingly, very lgbt friendly.

We got the pot belly sampler and half slab rib plates. Super tender ribs. Cubed brisket is full of flavor and moist. Pulled pork, spicy hot links, and turkey. What a great variety. Two sides selected were their coleslaw and citrus kale salad. First time kale salad for me (ever), and it was pretty darn good! Corn bread was tasty. All-in-all, I'd say it is has some of the best BBQ here in the Denver area. Loved their pork ribs!

My boyfriend and I loved the food. He got the brisket sandwich and I got the jerk chicken sandwich. Very nice space. We sat in the little enclosed patio on a cute couch and it was not too busy but the take out was constant, it's obviously a popular place. Mac and cheese might be my new favorite from any restaurant. Coleslaw and mashed potatoes were both amazing as well.

Stopped in to try some bbq and it was good. Got the sampler with two sides... the sides are only tiny (two bite sized), not even 1/2 pint so, I would recommend ordering up. Nothing special about the cornbread. Chance helped served me, was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a cute roadside bbq place, nothing fancy but, good food overall. We'll be back to try it aga

Tender pulled pork, delicious cornbread, friendly and prompt service, seating for multiple large parties...this place was a fun little find. The only critique I can give was that the sausage link was a little overdone so it was pretty dry, but that doesn't warrant a negative star in my opinion. The jerk chicken and ribs were both sold out, so I'm assuming they're fan faves. Hopefully the next time I return, I'll get to try one. I do love me some jerk chicken.

Eminently decent bbq with killer ambiance. We ordered the pork ribs and the brisket, but the ribs were the undisputed star of the meal. The Mac and cheese was baked, not saucy, with a hint of seasoning salt or something to give it a little something extra. The green chili mashed was literally that, green chili on mashed potatoes, but an inspired combo. The potatoes are silky smooth with the salty familiarity of elevated KFC. The green chili is thin and chili heavy - yum. The brisket salad was brisket on a bed of undressed kale and carrots. I feel like they could put in a little more effort on this one. For me, the food was a 4 but the ambiance was a 5 so I gave it a star-bump. We'll come back, but won't waste our time with the brisket next time.
